Synopsis:
A chronicle of the sordid life and death of Rolling Stones co-founder Brian Jones, who was let go from the band.
This is a murder mystery about one of the most talented musicians of the 60s who couldn't or wouldn't write pop songs anymore.And who was famously found drowned at the bottom of his swimming pool after being sacked from the Rolling Stones.
Paddy's role:
Real life character Frank Thorogood an East End builder who was working at Jones' estate, and who became number one suspect in the murder of Brian Jones. Jones seduced Thorogood into a decadent lifestyle but Jones was also infuriated by his contrariness over a building job he was doing for Jones at the time.

Trivia:
The director Stephen Wolley is originally a movie producer who's films include The Crying game, Fever pitch and Purely Belter, but more interesting is that he was producer of Shane Meadows' film Twenty four seven (staring Bob Hoskins and several of the cast of Romeo Brass)
Original title for the film was to be 'The Wild And Wycked World Of Brian Jones'
The film is based on Terry Rawlings' infamous book Who Killed Christopher Robin? (avaliable from this sites shop)

David Morrissey who plays Tom Keylock in 'Stoned', also appeared along with Paddy in the romantic comedy 'Born Romantic' as Fergus.
Monet Mazur who plays Anita Pallenberg in Stoned is the daughter of Ruby Mazur, an artist and illustrator known for designing the famous Rolling Stone's mouth logo.
